Garland Divorce & Family Law Attorneys — Bilingual

Garcia-Windsor represents Garland families in Dallas County divorce, custody, and support matters. Filings are made at the Dallas County family district courts downtown, about 20-25 minutes from central Garland via I-30 or US-75.

Where Garland Family Cases Are Heard

Garland is entirely within Dallas County — one of its largest cities. All family cases are filed with the Dallas County District Clerk and heard at the George L. Allen, Sr. Courts Building at 600 Commerce Street in downtown Dallas. Our Bishop Arts office is about a 20-25 minute drive from central Garland via I-30 or US-75.

Cases are randomly assigned to the family district courts (254th through 305th). We appear regularly in each and know the local scheduling and mediation preferences.

Bilingual, Community-Rooted Representation

Garland has a large Spanish-speaking population, and our office regularly serves bilingual and Spanish-only families across the northeast side. We take every intake, mediation, and courtroom appearance in English or Spanish.

For Garland families with cross-border ties, attorney Isabela A. Garcia's role as consulting attorney for the Mexican Consulate General of Dallas gives us direct experience with Hague-Convention service, consular apostille, and enforcement of Texas orders in Mexico.

Common Garland Family Law Situations

We routinely handle divorce, custody, child support, protective orders, and modification cases for Garland residents. In protective-order matters, we coordinate with Genesis Women's Shelter and The Family Place, which both operate 24-hour bilingual hotlines and cover northeast Dallas County.
